Description
The M-27 Orion was the first operational hover tank, built using Podkletnov-effect gravity-nullification generators for levitation. Directional control is by means of 10 electric vectoring ducted fans, which give it surprisingly good maneuverability for its size.
The main armament consists of a 127mm low pressure rifled gun, which can fire HEAT, HE and HESH, as well as a laser guided KE missile, with a coaxial 12.5mm machine gun and a remotely operated 20mm cannon mounted on the turret roof.
